We asked viewers if they needed help with their Honda and Acura projects and they have replied! Even though we’re replying to specific questions and issues, hopefully we answer questions that you may have about how things work. You can always hit us up on email at askvtecacademy@gmail.com if you have a problem with your project or just a question bugging the hell out of you.

The questions appear as they are sent to us, not to shame anyone for misspellings or grammar, but to show you exactly what is asked of us. Here are the questions from today’s video:

Great info! Thank you. I’ve been trying to get my 1989 CRX running. I’m at the wiring point. I installed a K24A2 from a TSX (2004 I think)and it has a 6 speed LSD from a 2006 SI. I purchased KPro Hondata bluetooth but the engine has no harness. I have a cable throttle body with a Karcepts adapter. Not sure what harness I’ll need, engine/jumper harness? I was thinking CJ Wiring unless there’s cheaper, lol…?

Hi. I have a question for you. I have a civic with a k20 with eg sub frame. I want to go back to b series using the eg sub frame. Is that possible and what would I need to do?
Thank you.

Hey boss, I have a ek with a k24a2 and a k20z3 transmission. I was using a stock accord shifter box and shifter cables. I had the shifter mounted in the tunnel and the cables were a little too long and shifted fine, now I just installed and ktuned accord/k20z3 shifter and this time I mounted it in the car, now my problem is my cables are a little way too long, now my question is are the 06-11 civic si shifter cables shorter than the 05 accord shifter cables?

What transmission should I get? Can I use my Accord ECU for ktuner if not what are my ECU options? Thanks for your help you guys are awesome have a nice day
