RD1 CRV B20 to B18 Head Swap

CRV B20 to B18 Head Swap
By Aaron Gaghagen

The RD1 CRV is a versatile vehicle. Of course, it’s a Honda! Carter’s CRV has been driving on three cylinders for the longest time. The off-roading wheels and tire made the ride even slower. Luckily for him, Carter snapped the timing belt on his worn out B20. This presents with the opportunity to get his rig running right AND to swap on a B18 head that won’t have the same valve problems that the B20s tend to suffer from. No, it still won’t have VTEC, but it will actually run on all four cylinders.
