Project Bruised Civic: K24 Wiring Harness for the 7th Gen Civic

By Brian Gillespie and Aaron Gaghagen

We install our engine harness, which is the last step before installing the engine. There are a few things to look out for but all in all a pretty simple procedure. After making the video I found my notes and this harness is originally from an Element K24A2 with automatic transmission which I converted to manual and converted for use with the RSX ECU. In a future video I will show you the procedure for converting the harness. For now, let’s play along with Brian and pretend it’s an RSX harness with wires lengthened and moved to work with the K24A2 engine and the VSS converted to CSS.

In the next video we will get into mounting the engine. We’ll not only show you the mounts for the TSX engine swap but also what you need if you are using the RSX Type S K20A2. Thanks for joining us for Project Bruised Civic.
