Adding Horsepower to Budget EG K Swap

Adding Horsepower to Budget EG K Swap: Making our head swap work
By Aaron Gaghagen and Brian Gillespie

We are sick of getting passed at the track. Or budget K24 Accord swapped Civic hatchback performed well against our B18C powered Civic hatch, but the higher horsepower cars, not so much. We can hang through the twisty bits. But Camaros, Mustangs, BMWs and FK8 Type Rs just speed right by as soon as we hit the straights. So, we need a good chunk of power. Trying to stay “budgety” we try a TSX head swap. Unfortunately for us the head swap isn’t quite so simple.
