I have a question about how to make a reverse lockout work for 2008 and 2009 Honda Elements. I believe all the mechanical parts for those years are the same. Anyhow, as I am sure you know, these Element 5-speeds have the ability to be converted pretty easily to 6-speeds using the same case and internals, but just by adding Honda Civic SI or Acura TSX 6th gear parts. Here is a large thread with some information on that if need be – https://www.elementownersclub.com/threads/element-6-speed-mt-conversion-plans-parts.25635/

The Acura RSX Type-S shifter mechanisms directly bolt on as well, which leads me to my question. If I have the 6-gear conversions already completed in my Elements, which also have the Acura RSX Type-S shifter mechanisms installed as well, is there a way to get the lockout solenoids to work like they would have from the factory?

Hello, I have an 02-04 RSX ECU that has been Kpro’d for use in 05-06 RSX. Can I use the Hasport conversion harness for K swap in DC2 chassis? I am also using 05-06RSX K20Z1 engine, transmission, and engine harness
