8th Gen R18 to K Series Part 4: Let’s get it started!

Last time we figured out what needed to change from our formerly R18 powered for our K20R engine swap to do its thing. Today we are going to try to finish the project and get it started. We promised a parts list and here it is:
The exhaust, which is a Magnaflow Exhaust from way back in 2005 when we built an 06 Civic for SEMA.
The air fuel sensor and secondary O2. We bought these used for about a quarter the price of new from LKQ which has salvage yards all over the US.
The radiator and heater hoses, which were surprising inexpensive from Honda. Part numbers are 19501-RRA-A01 and 19504-RRA-A01 for the rad hoses and 79721-SVB-A00, 79722-SNG-A00, 79725-SVB-A00, 79711-SNB-A00, 90661-TK8-A01 and 19513-PE0-003 heater hoses and hardware.
The fuel line which we will buy new, part number 16722-RRA-A01.
We also found a 2006-11 Si airbox on craigslist, a 2006 Si ECU from another project car and a battery from Costco. The airbox could have been replaced by cold air or short ram intake for an Si.
The ECU has to be from a 2006 to 2011 Si. We chose one from a 2006 because that year didn’t have vehicle stability assist.
As you can see, we appear to have a bit of a smoking problem. Next time we will try to get to the bottom of the issue so we can get the Civic to the dyno to see what it does.
