17 Jan SEMA Show 2014
The new Honda Fit was the big star of the Honda booth – named SEMA’s Hottest Sport Compact of the show. Honda provided six builders with Fits to build for the show. All turned out to make the Fit their own. Spoon Sports, Bisimoto Engineering (they also built the Norm Reeves Honda Fit), Kontrabrands, MAD Industries, Tjin Edition, and Kenny Vinces killed it on many levels.
The Acura booth featured just three cars, all TLXs. The white 2015 TLX featured the Acura Genuine Accessories package. The other two were much more interesting. The stunning blue TLX was prepared by Galpin Auto Sports with expertly performed modifications that tied in seamlessly with the natural body lines to make the car much more aggressive without being garish. The big daddy of the display was the RealTime Racing Acura TLX GT race car. Its massaged and stretched fenders housed massive wheels, tires and brakes twisted by big power from the twin turbo V6 at all four corners.
Clean NSX with aggressively size and styled wheels.
Sportcar Motion’s bright orange “race car formerly known as Dark Knight” RSX.
Insanely wide NSX in the Toyo Tires area. It looked better than the high priced Ford it was parked next to!
Don’t tell anybody, but I touched the hiney. I mean LOOK AT IT!!
