Oversized K Swap Throttle Body

How to Build an Oversized K Swap Throttle Body

By Brian Gillespie

You’ve pieced together your K swap from numerous sources searching for the best deals. The one thing you couldn’t find was a good price on a throttle body. No matter, you wanted an oversized one anyway. Well you get the new throttle body and it costs as much as your engine did and there is no TPS, IACV or MAP sensor on it. You’re still going to have to buy an OEM throttle body together the parts you need. New they’re $1000 from Acura and used and maybe good they are $150 from the junk yard.

Well fear not, the guys at VTEC Academy are here to show you how to piece together the parts needed to make your aftermarket throttle body work and save you a few bucks in the process.
