K24 GE Fit Gets Tuned With Hondata
By Brian Gillespie and Aaron Gaghagen
We built our version of what we thought a Honda Fit Si should be. Since we’re a bit extra we used a K24Z7 from a TSX using Hasport Performance GEK mounts instead of a K20 which Honda was rumored to have been toying with putting in to battle with the Fiesta ST. But Ford killed the Fiesta and Honda scrapped the idea, allegedly. Then we sold our GE Fit (Jazz for those abroad.) and that was that. We hoped to get a chance to develop the Fit more in the future if the new owner was down, but nothing was set in stone. Well, the new owner decided to get a Hondata and let us tune it even more! The plan is to hit the dyno, make more power and see how that improves performance.
