K Swap Speed Sensor

Hi guys had a question I have a 05 rsx 5 speed in my civic coupe. I’m curious if there is any options to get that speed sensor to work with my speedo

EP3 Engine Swap

Hi Brian,

First off thank you for all the knowledge you shared with all of us on Honda swaps.

Here’s my situation, I have a a 2002 stock EP3 Si (k20a3) with 280k miles. Just recently did a valve job and found that my intake cam lob is heavily pitted at cylinder 2. I have decided to move forward with doing a swap given the high mileage and cost to fix.

I have decided on a k24a or a k20a swap for more power, but I’m not sure how that will effect my Ep3 passing CA emission test. I have done some research for both swap and have seen conflicting answers and wish you can shed some light on these swaps and passing emission. I plan on doIng either the following:

K24A Route
1)purchase a low mile JDM K24A and a 6 speed TSX transmission
2)utilize my EP3 wire harness and re-pin for reverse lock out
3) purchase a TSX ECU for Manual transmission w/ matching key immobilizer and key
4) upgrading wheel hub for 36mm
5) keeping all factory sensors and catalytic converter with modified exhaust/ header to fit into Ep3 chassis.

K20A (Ep3 CTR) route
If I was going to purchase a complete CTR swap from Japan or UK , will I be able to pass CA emission test? I know this a grey area and have found mix answers on K20 and Honda-tech forums regarding this swap .

Any knowledge from you will be greatly appreciated
Thank you in advance!

2005 Civic LX with K20

Hi!
I did a swap in 2005 Civic LX automatic trans, with 2006 RSX base auto also.
It looks like the C101 are the same.
I am looking for ECU connectors pinout for both cars, and if you know which wire from which connector to move around.
Any help would be appreciate.

Thanks
Greg
