Fixing the 3rd Gen Acura TL

One Small Change Acura Needed to FIGHT Euro-Luxury
By Aaron Gaghagen

The 3rd gen Acura TL is criminally overlooked. It oozed luxury for it’s time. Smooth ride, yep. Super plush leather seats softer and more supportive than your grandpa’s Lay-Z-Boy, for sure. Plush, it was available with a six speed manual in front and all wheel drive configurations. So why didn’t it get the recognition that it’s European counterparts did? One word: power. The TL was a big boy car that just didn’t pack the umph offered by it’s competitors. One company looked to remedy this problem, but they were about 10 years too early for the aftermarket. CT Engineering went out of business a while ago, but they truly solved the TL problem.
