K24 AWD auto swap in a RD1 CR-Z with Hasport K Swap mounts.

First Gen CRV Automatic or Manual K Swap Mounts for AWD and FF

First Gen CRV Automatic or Manual K Swap Mounts for AWD and FF
By Brian Gillespie and Aaron Gaghagen

This swap has been a long time coming, the RD1 CR-V is getting it’s own K swap mount kit. Not only that, but it’s going to be available for both automatic and manual transmissions including AWD. The automatic K series transmissions are so readily available and cheap it’s not even funny so this could really bring K swaps to a lot more drivers. In the past people would shim their EK K swap mounts to fit the first generation CR-V and that is less than ideal. Brian created this kit to get all of the engine and transmission placement optimized to make axles and prop shaft measurements standardized. That means we can have parts ready to go off the shelf that fit the first time.
