The K series might be Honda’s greatest engine of all time. One of those reasons is that they respond to modifications so well. Since the mid 2000s, the hot setup for K powered cars was to run a three inch exhaust. But, how true is that? Is it an urban legend that got spread like wildfire on the Honda forums? Does this Thermal Research and Development 3 inch exhaust make power? We try to find out using our mostly stock FA5 (2007 Civic Si) by testing the 1/8th mile time.
