Is your engine as healthy as you think it is?

 

Engine performance mods are only as good as the engine you’re putting them on. What’s the point of adding boost on an engine that isn’t strong enough to make the most out of that boost? At best, you make more power than you had previously and, at worst, you blow your engine and get stuck on the road or track. Both of those outcomes suck, so how can you avoid wasting your hard earned money? One of the easiest ways to check your engine’s health is by performing a compression test. This measures each cylinder’s ability to create pressure. In this video Brian uses Carter’s DA Integra to show how to check the compression.
