Project Bruised Civic Part 4: Getting the K24 swap to work with the 7th Gen Civic

By Brian Gillespie

Welcome to part 4 of Project bruised Civic. The engine is in, but that is only a small part of the swap. There’s a whole host of things that need to be re-installed and/or modified to get the K24 swap to work in the ES/EM Civic chassis.

Want to build your own quick disconnect fuel line?

Here are the fuel line part numbers to build your own quick disconnect fuel line:

The fuel line is Dorman 800-074 5/16 In. Nylon Fuel Line. Although I use a straight and a right angle fuel fitting two right angle fitting like those in this 2 pack would work even better.

Dorman 800-081 Fuel Line Quick Connector That Adapts 5/16 in.

Steel to 5/16 in. Nylon Tubing
