Cars and Coffee But Make It All Hondas!

Honda Cars Bikes and Coffee: Race Car Edition
By Brian Gillespie, Kiana Gillespie and Aaron Gaghagen

Have you ever gone to cars and coffee only to find out that there are no good cars besides your own? Well, six times a year Honda fixes that issue by hosting Cars, Bikes and Coffee at the Honda Collection Hall at Honda’s American headquarters in beautiful Torrance, California. Everyone is welcome to join, even non-Hondas. But, each event has an overall theme. This time the theme is racing. With Acura being the main sponsor of the Long Beach Grand Prix, featuring race cars and bikes has become a tradition.

We catch up with a couple of old Honda racing friends to learn about their Acura race car build. Brian Slames from PCI (Pro Car Innovations) tells us about how he has addressed all the performance issues with the RSX/Integra that initially held it back. And then Bret Norgaard from Yawsport updates us on his championship winning UA Acura TL with plans to compete in more events.
