K Series turbo in a white Civic EG hatchback

Getting Budget EG Ready for Southwest Speed Festival

Getting Budget EG Ready for Southwest Speed Festival
By Aaron Gaghagen and Brian Gillespie

The Southwest Speed Festival is coming up quickly and we plan on running our Budget EG Civic hatchback. Remember that our 5th gen is powered by a K20A3 bottom end from a base Acura RSX mated to a K23 turbo head from an Acura RDX. We think this setup when paired with some good chassis set up will be a blast on the track at The Podium Club where Southwest Speed Festival will be held on 9/21-9/22 this year. But, before we hit the track for the event, we need to sort out some stuff with some testing.
