Honda Performance Development B-Spec Fit

An entry-level race car for Honda fans ready to go wheel-to-wheel racing.

By Brian Gillespie and Aaron Gaghagen

When you want to go legit and get your hands dirty with some head-to-head, side-by-side track racing, one of the best places to start is with a B-Spec car. B-Spec cars are showroom stock racing cars that use stock engines and chassis but with competition roll cages, racing seats and safety equipment as well as manufacturer-approved suspension components, wheels, and tires.

We caught up with HPD (Honda Performance Development) recently at Auto Club Speedway of California and got the lowdown on the new B-Spec Honda Fit. It was easy to see after talking with them that racing’s more than just a part of their job.
