Honda Slides Into FD

How Honda returned to Formula Drift.

By Aaron Gaghagen

You already know that Formula Drift’s the premier series for anybody who cares about rear tires spinning about in tandem. It’s exciting, smoky, tire-shredding fun. Only problem’s that, for years, there’s been no Hondas to make it all worth watching. RX-7s and 240s are cool and all, but they’ll never be Honda-cool.

Last season Chris Jeanneret and his Vibrant Performance-backed S2000 fixed Formula Drift’s lack-of-Honda problem by bringing the brand back into the series. Jeanneret takes time out of his SEMA schedule to talk with us about how and why he decided to buck the status quo and carry the Honda flag onto the track.

To learn more about the Vibrant Performance S2000 and Jeanneret’s drifting shenanigans, hit up Chris Jeanneret Racing.
